Affecto are proud to be working in partnership with Sheffield based business who are upscaling their development team. We’re recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer with experience developing web applications. You’ll have strong background working with C#, .Net Core and SQL Server.

What will you be doing?

• Work closely with other members of the development/technical team
• Participate in planning meetings for Sprints
• Actively contribute to the process of continual improvement
• Unit Testing, TDD and BDD
• Support and facilitate change to implement efficient and effective strategies
• Advise/mentor Junior members of the team

What skills do you need?

• Experience in full SDLC from design to deployment,
• Proven experience of software development using Microsoft .Net and SQL technologies
• Experience using Scrum or other Agile methodologies managed via TFS/Azure DevOps
• The ability to utilise CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Azure or AWS Cloud services and Open Source technologies (advantageous)
• Ability to solve complex problems and participate in continuous improvement
• A proactive approach with the ability to prioritises own workload.
