Affecto is proud to be recruiting for a fantastic software house looking to modernise traditional engineering, their software analyses diagnostic results to increase efficiencies and productivity. We’re looking for a confident Senior Product Manager to join their dynamic and fast-paced environment. You’ll be working with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. 

What will you be doing?

• Gaining a deep understanding of the customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generating new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth

• Driving product launches including working with all teams within the company

• Taking ownership over all aspects of the business product and roadmap, tactically and strategically.

• Coordinating with engineering, marketing and other teams to deliver products that customers love

• Developing product pricing and positioning strategies

• Translating product strategy into detailed requirements

• Scope and prioritise activities based on business and customer impact

• Creating buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external customers

• Working closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources

• Evaluating promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed

• Acting as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

• Representing the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services

What skills do you need?

• Have a track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

• Several years of proven experience in product management

• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to all stakeholders within the business

• Experience within the domain of manufacturing/machining is desirable but is not essential

• Excellent leadership and organisational skills

• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• MSc/BSc/BEng degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing or other relevant field
