Affecto is recruiting for a seasoned Senior Product Manager to join the engineering team for a Venture Capital company who are making waves in their industry. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. 

What will you be doing?

• Gain a deep understanding of the customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
• Drive product launches including working with all teams within the company
• Take ownership over all aspects of the business product and roadmap, tactically and strategically.
• Coordinate with engineering, marketing and other teams to deliver products that customers love
• Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements
• Scope and prioritise activities based on business and customer impact
• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external customers
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
• Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
• Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services

What skills do you need?

• Track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• Several years of proven experience in product management
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to all stakeholders within the business
• Experience within the domain of manufacturing/machining is desirable but is not essential
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• MSc/BSc/BEng degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing or other relevant field
