Job Ref: 2231
Python Developer – x4 opportunities available with option for remote working.
FISC are embarking on an exciting growth phase and have opportunities available for four Software Developers with strong knowledge of Python to join the team. Having supported the business for a number of years, Affecto Recruitment is proud to be partnering with FISC again to scale its Development Team as the company continues to expand despite the current climate.
Based in Sheffield, FISC’s software solutions are used by over 2000 motor dealerships both in the UK and internationally. The company provides motor manufacturers, finance companies, dealer motor groups and individual car dealerships with unique tools that maximise customer retention, increase finance renewals, sell more vehicles, increase margins and ensure that Finance and Insurance sales are not only maximised but executed in compliant manner. FISC also operates the UK’s most innovative appointed representative dealer network for consumer credit and general insurance.
The business’ short-to-medium term strategy is to completely insource their development function, eliminating reliance on offshore partners. As a Python Developer, you’ll use your knowledge of Python to work on a variety of assignments, from enhancing functionality of current products to greenfield projects aimed at expanding the overall product portfolio.
You’ll join a dynamic Development Team at what promises to be a really exciting time. Applications are welcome from Software Developers at all levels, and Engineers operating at mid-senior level will be of particular interest.
- Salary range of £40,000 to £60,000 (level dependent on commercial experience)
- Remote working and/or the option to work in the office if more suitable.
- Training budget
- Health insurance with rewards scheme
- Company car (after qualifying period)
What will I need to be considered for these Python Developer roles?
- Good knowledge of Python (preferably gained in a commercial environment, although we’d love to know about any Python-related personal projects as well)
- A background working on large scale software projects
- Dependent on your experience, the ability to mentor Junior Developers
- Knowledge of Django, AWS and Git
- Have a real passion for technology
Although not essential, experience working within a DevOps environment would be ideal, and previous exposure to FE technologies would be great, especially React.
Although FISC are a Sheffield based business, as the option for remote working is available, we would welcome applications from any Python Developers who are eligible to work in the UK. Interviews will be held remotely using Zoom or Google Hangouts.
Please note, Affecto Recruitment is working in partnership with FISC on a retained basis and all candidates for these Python Developer roles, including direct applicants, will be managed by Affecto.Apply Now
