Full Stack Web Developer

Affecto is proud to be recruiting for a specialist training provider for the fitness industry based in Liverpool. They've been in business since 2015 and have grown organically in that period to now number 85 people with a turnover of approaching £10m.

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Web Developer to help grow their team.

As it's their first hire in the space, you'll have a huge amount of influence over the technical direction of the company moving forward but currently, the majority of the stack is PHP orientated. 

The role will be hands-on in the first instance, this role would suit you if you're excited by the proposition of establishing and growing an entirely new function as well.

You’ll be based in their Liverpool office 3/4 days a week initially while the dev team grows, with flexibility on hybrid later on. 

 

What will you be doing?

  • Building a new website from scratch

  • Helping to refine and develop our new job board

  • Developing projects within our current main website

  • Work with the marketing team to add and update content and help us rank better in the search engines as well as making modifications to existing systems.

  • Project managing and developing our new workout software

  • Part of your role will be to guide the future technology stack we use.

  • Liaise with the branding team with your ideas, who will help bring those to life, as well as using analytics to track campaign performance.

  • Head up the department including hiring and managing of junior developers.

  • Be able to handle pressure and cope working in a fast-paced working environment

  • Multi-task multiple projects simultaneously

  • Time manage your own diary and create systems and processes for others to follow.
